Conversation with Novelist Giovanna Rivero

Giovanna Rivero is one of the definitive voices of contemporary Bolivian narrative. Her short-stories and novels touch on the gothic reality of contemporary horrors through endearing characters. In this talk, the author will discuss her work and her views on Latin American contemporary fiction. In particular, she will discuss her bildungsroman 98 segundos sin sombra (2014) and her most recent publication, the short-story collection Tierra fresca de su tumba (2023).
