Five Mawrters Chosen for Fulbright ETA Program

Three members of the Class of 2023, Taylor Ward, M.S.S. '23, and Dorian Alexis of the Class of 2021 have been selected for the U.S. Fulbright Program's . They are listed below with the country where they are awarded to teach.

The English Teaching Assistant Program places Fulbright recipients in classrooms abroad to provide assistance to the local English teachers. ETAs help teach English language while serving as cultural ambassadors for the U.S. The age and academic level of the students varies by country, ranging from kindergarten to university level.

Each year, Â鶹ÊÓƵ students apply for a number of prestigious national scholarships, grants, and fellowships, often with great success. These fellowships may provide funding for the last years of undergraduate education, for graduate education both in the United States and abroad, or even for travel and independent research not tied to an academic institution.
