Dear Faculty Colleagues,
As we launch searches for the College’s next Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer (CFO/CAO) as well as the Chief Information Officer and Constance A. Jones Director of Libraries (CIO), we want to be sure to hear what you think we most need in these positions.
I understand that the faculty will vote on their representatives to each committee at the faculty meeting next week. Both search committees are chaired by members of the faculty. Janet Shapiro, Dean of the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research and Mary Hale Chase Professor in the Social Sciences, Social Work and Social Research, is chairing the CFO search committee and Tim Harte, Provost and Professor of Russian, and Dianna Xu, Professor and Chair of Computer Science, are co-chairing the LITS search committee.
It would also be helpful if you would spend even a few minutes offering thoughts about the CFO/CAO position and the CIO/Director of Libraries position that we will share with the search committee. All responses offered by next Friday, September 27th, will be shared with the committee.
