Students Present Findings at the 2018 Summer Science Research Poster Session

Each summer, Â鶹ÊÓƵ provides 35-plus students with 10-week research stipends to conduct independent research under the guidance of Â鶹ÊÓƵ faculty members in the sciences and mathematics. 

This year's participants will be highlighting their work at the Summer Science Poster Session from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 21, in the second floor lobby of the newly renovated Park Science Center. This event is open to the entire Â鶹ÊÓƵ community.

Undergraduate research initiatives are central to Â鶹ÊÓƵ's approach to science education. All science majors are encouraged to conduct mentored research projects during the summer and/or academic year, and each year more than 50 percent of all science majors do so.
